Ministerial code - Ministerial forward

This Ministerial Code sets out my clear expectation for my government in the way in which we will work. It is a practical guide for us when going about our day-to-day ministerial business. This code sets out the principles and behaviours which embody the kind of administration that we are going to be - one defined by professionalism, ambition, credibility and empathy, guiding how we act every day.

Government is about what you do, and we have an ambitious and wide-ranging programme which we are getting on with swiftly. And government is also about how you do it. I am determined that together we will aspire to, and adhere too, the highest standards of behaviour as we implement that programme - working hard every day to improve the lives of the people of Wales, with new energy, new ideas and new leadership.
