The report summarises research into the need for social welfare advice within Welsh local authorities.

This research provides estimates of the local level of need for general and specialist help on six social welfare topics. These estimates are independent of current advice provision and include latent and expressed need.

The report also provides a methodological guide for analysts that seek to produce own estimates of the number of justiciable problems for local authorities in Wales.
