Details of the ‘More than just words’ programme of events taking place during Urdd Eisteddfod Ynys Môn 2026

The Welsh Government and partners are hosting a week of activities at the Urdd Eisteddfod 2026. Each day has a different theme, with sessions, workshops and activities running throughout the day.

More than just words / Mwy na geiriau will be based at Stand N6

Saturday 23 May: Learners’ Day

Partners include the Welsh Language Policy Team, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, the National Centre for Learning Welsh, Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and WeCare.Wales.

Activities include:

  • 12:30 ‘Skills Surgery’ programme: developed by Aneurin Bevan UHB
  • 13:00 BCUHB Learners’ journey: supporting people to find career opportunities and vacancies
  • 14:00 A talk from the Speech and Language team from Betsi Cadwaladr UHB 
  • 15:00 Story session

  • 16:00 ‘Listening to People’: A focus on people’s experiences of the NHS

Throughout the day:
