We are seeking your views on the national strategy for preventing and responding to child sexual abuse 2025 to 2035.
Consultation description
The strategy sets out our vision for a Wales in which:
- children and young people are safe from the harm of child sexual abuse
- those affected by sexual abuse are supported across their lifespan
There are 4 strategic objectives in the draft strategy. These have been co-developed with adult victim-survivors and other key stakeholders. The strategic objectives are:
- preventing child sexual abuse
- protecting children and young people when there are concerns about child sexual abuse
- supporting children and their families
- supporting adult victim-survivors
