NHS smoking cessation services: January to March 2025

• 4,861 Welsh resident smokers were treated by smoking cessation services.
• 1.45% of the estimated smoking population of Wales made a quit attempt via smoking cessation services.
• 1,004 (20.65%) Welsh resident treated smokers were CO-validated as successfully quitting at 4 weeks post quit date.

• 17,763 Welsh resident smokers were treated by smoking cessation services.
• 5.30% of the estimated smoking population of Wales made a quit attempt via smoking cessation services.
• 3,202 (18.03%) Welsh resident treated smokers were CO-validated as successfully quitting at 4 weeks post quit date.
