NHS smoking cessation services: January to March 2026

• 4,047 Welsh resident smokers were treated by smoking cessation services.
• 1.5% of the estimated smoking population of Wales made a quit attempt via smoking cessation services.
• 932 (23.0%) Welsh resident treated smokers were CO-validated as successfully quitting at 4 weeks post quit date.

• 15,471 Welsh resident smokers were treated by smoking cessation services.
• 5.9% of the estimated smoking population of Wales made a quit attempt via smoking cessation services.
• 3,606 (23.3%) Welsh resident treated smokers were CO-validated as successfully quitting at 4 weeks post quit date.
