Nkosi graduated from Cardiff University in 2021, qualifying in 2022, working as an Optometrist primarily in Welsh independent practice. His working day includes delivering a range of enhanced services available both privately and under Welsh GOS, including independent prescribing.

He is an optometric enthusiast and keen educator, spending time both in undergraduate clinics and supporting education delivery at conferences. He is also a College of Optometrists council member for Wales and keen advocate for the role of the Optometrist beyond the sight test.
