The arrangements for the demersal landing obligation have been phased in. From 2019 most commercial catch/quota species are included.
This is part of the Common Fisheries Policy landing obligation.

- your responsibilities
- that you need to understand and adhere to the demersal landing obligation rules
Please note that in Wales, we perform both the management and enforcement roles. In England, these are undertaken by DEFRA and the Marine Management Organisation.
