Through Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, NAS will process your personal data. This is to provide support and assistance to international social care workers who have been or are due to be displaced. This may be because of a revocation of their employer’s sponsorship licence or they are seeking alternative employment. Personal data from social care employers wanting to use the service will also be processed.

Welsh Government will be the controller for the personal data. We will process it as per our public task and authority to create and manage essential support for international social care workers who:

  • hold a valid visa to work in the UK
  • have been or are due to be displaced as a result of a revocation of their employer’s sponsorship licence
  • are seeking alternative employment

Personal data relating to social care workers will not be shared with third parties. We will share information provided by employers including:

  • the name of the social care employer or provider
  • the type of service
  • the service address
  • the contact details for the relevant officer
  • their current vacancies with third parties, including with social care workers and UK Government (Regional Support Hubs in England)

Data will only be shared to support and assist overseas workers in finding alternative employment.

All personal data provided will be stored on secure servers.
Your personal data will be retained for the duration of the support service, and for at least six months thereafter. The data will be securely destroyed once it is determined that it is no longer required.
