Cynllun Profi, Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr

Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr’s Profi scheme uses a bilingual, digital platform to deliver informal education, empower young people, and support them to actively shape their skills, confidence and future pathways. The project supports young people transitioning into the world of work whilst encouraging them to recognise the value of using Welsh in the workplace. 

The overriding ambition is to promote Welsh as a powerful, everyday skill, empowering young people to recognise the value of their Welsh language skills to unlock local opportunities and build their future careers in thriving, bilingual communities.

Judges consider that the platform encourages personal responsibility and builds self-management skills and the digital approach enables broad participation, breaking down geographical and social barriers.
