We want your views on proposed FMPs for pelagic fish stocks.
Consultation description
We are asking for opinions on:
- joint UK fisheries management plans for pelagic fish stocks to be published in 2026
- the Regulatory Impact Assessment, and
- the environmental report on the FMPs
This is a joint consultation between the Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish and UK governments.
Under the Fisheries Act 2020 (on gov.uk), the four UK fisheries policy authorities published a Joint Fisheries Statement. This statement includes a list of FMPs to be published over a 6-year period.
This consultation is being held on gov.scot
