This consultation seeks views on how best to implement the undergrounding-first policy for electricity lines in Wales.
The proposed policy would:
- prioritise putting new 11–132 kV electricity lines underground
- end the use of large steel lattice pylons for these lines
We want views on how the policy should be designed, introduced and applied in practice.
