Data based on when the incident was reported by NHS providers to the National Reporting and Learning System (NRLS) for April 2019.
This is not the latest release in the series: Patient safety
This dataset is used to measure levels of reporting from NHS organisations including regularity and timeliness of reporting. It is not suitable to make comparisons between health boards or for changes over time due to the difference between when an incident occurred and when it was reported.
The dataset should be used alongside other local patient safety intelligence and expertise, and supports the NHS to deliver improvements in patient safety.
