Consultation description
The 2016 act establishes a new system of regulation and inspection which will uphold the rights of Welsh citizens to dignified, safe and appropriate care.
We are consulting on draft regulations that will update the system of inspection and regulation of care providers. The regulations will:
- strengthen the regulation and inspection regime
- help the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales maintain an overview of the whole service an organisation provides
- make it easier for providers to register and for citizens to have information about providers.
