Afan Forest Park visitor centre

Located along the A4107 to and from Port Talbot. From the south leave the M4 at Junction 40 and follow signs for Afan Forest.

Bwlch Nant Yr Arian

Located at Ponterwyd, Devil's Bridge in Ceredigion. The centre is located on the A44 leading to and from Aberystwyth.

Caia Community Woods

Located at Caia Park, Wrexham. From the A483, take junction 6 (A534 & B445). Follow signs for Wrexham Industrial Estate on the A5156, heading south east on the Acton - Llan y Pwll link road. Continue straight ahead at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A534 Holt Road heading west into Wrexham. Go straight ahead at the first roundabout and at the second roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Cefn Road.

Take the second turning on the right into Churchill Drive, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Deva Way. Follow the road until the left-hand junction for Wynnstay Avenue. Turn into Wynnstay Avenue and continue to the junction with Garner Road. Turn left into Garner Road, park at the end of Garner Road. A pedestrian footpath leads to the two largest sites on 'The Dunks'.

Coed Bryn Oer

Situated just off the A465, Parc Bryn Bach is on the doorstep of Bannau Brycheiniog and the Black Mountains.

Follow signs to Parc Bryn Bach off A465 between Merthyr Tydfil and Abergavenny.

Coed Cefn Ila

Cefn lla is situated near Usk, Momnmouthshire. From Usk take the road towards Llangybi. As you reach Llanbadoc, take the first right hand turning (opposite church) and continue along this road.  After about ¾ of a mile there is a cottage on the right hand side, turn right up the lane. The entrance to Cefn Ila is approx 100m up the track.

Coed Ffos Las

Located in the Gwendreath Valley in Carmarthenshire between Carway and Trimsaran near the Ffos Las racecourse.

Follow the brown tourist signs to the Ffos Las racecourse from Llanelli or the M4 at Carmarthen. The entrance is within Carway, opposite the village hall.

Coed McLaren and Coed Syfi

Coed McLaren is located between Abertysswg and New Tredegar, 3 miles south of Rhymney and the A465. Follow signs to Abertysswg from either Pontlottyn or Rhymney along the B4257 from the A469 main road. Drive through Abertysswg and turn right at miners memorial sign after the school.

For Coed Syfi, follow signs to Phillipstown from New Tredegar on the A469.

Coedwig y Plant! Cwm Garw

The Garw Valley is a small former mining area in Bridgend County Borough (formerly Mid Glamorgan).

From Junction 36 of the M4 Bridgend follow brown tourist signs to Garw Valley (Pontycymmer and Parc Calon Lân in Blaengarw)

Coed y Felin, Amlwch

Located at the southern end of Amlwch, near the leisure centre and school.

Take the B5111 towards Llanerchymedd. Take the first right towards the leisure centre and the school (Ffordd Tanybryn). Take the first road on the left, signposted Pentrefelin, and the gated entrance is sbout 250 metres on the right hand side.

Coed y Foel

Located 1.3 miles (2km) north-east of Llandysul in the Teifi Valley.

At the roundabout on the A486, take the exit signposted for Llandysul B4624. Continue for 1.3 miles (2km) into Llandysul where the road splits into a one way system.  Take the first sharp left turn signposted Pen-gwyn B4476  and continue for half a mile (0.8km).  After a small  bridge take the first right towards Capel Dewi and a Woollen Mill.  Follow lane until it bends left. The entrance is on your left.

Coed Ysgubor Wen

Coed Ysgubor Wen is in the Dysynni Valley at the southern end of Eryri National Park.

By bike or on foot: National Cycle Route 8 (Lon Las Cymru North).

By car: From the A493, take the turn signposted for Llanegryn. Carry on for about two miles (3km) until you pass a property called Ty'r Gawen - the wood’s main entrance is further on, on the left.

Located on the south side of the road leading to the Pontypool and Blaenavon Heritage Railway (not by the lakes themselves), on the west facing bank above the cycleway.

Off the Garn Road (B4248), Garn-yr-erw. This road runs between Blaenavon and Brynmawr.

Llyn Geirionnydd

Located in the Gwydir Forest, near Llanrwst. Follow signs for Geirionnydd), or Pont y Pair in Betws y Coed on the A5 to Capel Curig.

Pantside Community Woodland Park

Located to the east of Newbridge in the Nant Gawney valley and signed from the A472.

Leave the A472, and head up Central Avenue to a roundabout by St Peters Church. Take the third turning on the roundabout into Tir-y-pwl Road. At the end of Tir-y-pwl road there is a barrier/gateway onto the site.
