The UK Government is setting out its proposals for raising standards across the private parking industry.
Consultation description
The Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 places a duty on the UK Government to publish a Code of Practice for the operation and management of private parking facilities.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government wants your views on proposals to better protect motorists and support private parking operators to legitimately operate car parks.
Responses to this consultation will inform the development of the Private Parking Code of Practice, which will apply to England, Scotland and Wales.
