We are consulting on the code of Practice for Landlords and Agents in relation to the provisions introduced in Part 1 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014.
Consultation description
The Housing (Wales) Act received Royal Assent on 17 September 2014. Part 1 of the act includes provisions which introduce a mandatory licensing scheme for people involved in the letting and management of residential properties in Wales.
Part of the conditions of a licence granted by the Licensing Authority is for the licence holder to abide by a code of practice issued by the Welsh Ministers. This consultation seeks views on the content of that code of practice.
