This privacy notice explains how we will process the personal data collected by the public appointments candidate feedback form.
Contents
Background
The Public Appointments Team (PAT) may invite candidates to complete a short online survey to share feedback on their experience of the recruitment process, including how they found out about the opportunity and how the process worked for them.
This feedback will help us understand the effectiveness, accessibility and fairness of our approach, and identify areas for improvement.
The survey does not ask for names or contact details unless you choose to provide them. We do not actively seek to collect personal data; however, free-text responses may occasionally include information that could make individuals identifiable.
All responses will be used solely to evaluate and improve the public appointments process. They will not be used to identify individual candidates unless you have explicitly agreed to your comments being attributed.
What do we do with your information
The information you provide will be used to evaluate candidates’ experiences of the public appointments recruitment process, including how you became aware of the opportunity and how the process worked for you. This will help us to improve future campaigns and ensure our processes remain fair, open and accessible.
Your responses will be stored securely and will only be accessed by the Public Appointments Team.
If you choose to consent to your comments being shared publicly (for example on our website or social media), and optionally provide your name and role/organisation, this information will only be used for that purpose. Providing this information is entirely optional.
What the lawful basis is for using your data
The Welsh Government (‘we’) will be the data controller for the personal data you provide.
For evaluating the recruitment process
