Background

The Public Appointments Team (PAT) has introduced online training to support panel members in applying the new Public Appointments recruitment and assessment framework. To help us understand how effective this training is, panel members will be invited to complete a short online form to share their feedback and suggest any improvements.

This survey does not request names or contact details unless you choose to provide them. We do not intend to collect personal data; however, free-text responses may occasionally include information that could make individuals identifiable.

All responses will be used solely to evaluate and improve the training and will not be used to identify individual participants unless you have explicitly agreed to your comments being attributed.

What do we do with your information

The information you provide will be used to evaluate the online training and inform future improvements. Your responses will be stored securely and will only be accessed by the Public Appointments Team.

If you choose to consent to your comments being shared publicly (for example, on our website or social media), and optionally provide your name and role/organisation, this information will only be used for that purpose. Providing this information is entirely optional.

What the lawful basis is for using your data

The Welsh Government (‘we’) will be the data controller for the personal data you provide.

Article 6(1)(e) – Public task

We use your feedback to evaluate candidates’ experiences of the public appointments recruitment process and to improve how future appointments are delivered. This supports our responsibility to ensure recruitment processes are fair, open and accessible.
