Notes on this schedule
Practitioners must follow this vaccination schedule from 1 July 2025 onwards.
This updated schedule includes a new routine vaccination appointment at 18 months of age.
This schedule supersedes the previous routine childhood vaccination schedule.
Updates to the routine childhood vaccination schedule are explained in detail in WHC/2025/019.
Routine childhood vaccination schedule
8 weeks
At 8 weeks of age, administer first:
- DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB
- MenB
- Rotavirus
12 weeks
At 12 weeks of age, administer second:
- DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB
- MenB
- Rotavirus
16 weeks
At 16 weeks of age, administer:
- third DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB
- first PCV13
One year
At one year of age, administer:
- second PCV
- first MMR
- third MenB
18 months
At 18 months of age, administer:
- fourth DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB
- second MMR
3 years 4 months
At 3 years and 4 months of age, administer DTaP/IPV.
