Reporting the results of carrying out experimental seasonal adjustment of Welsh road accident and casualty data, with the aim of possibly publishing seasonally adjusted quarterly data in the future.

The report has been produced by the Welsh Government and reviewed by the Methodology Directorate of the Office for National Statistics.

The report includes:

  • an explanation of seasonal adjustment
  • the use of seasonal adjustment with respect to road casualties
  • what breakdowns of the data are available
  • quality issues.
