We are seeking views on the decapitalisation rates to be adopted for the 2023 non-domestic rates revaluation in Wales.
The decapitalisation rate is a percentage figure used to convert the capital value of a property into an annual rental value.
We are consulting on:
- whether the decapitalisation rates should be prescribed in legislation
- how many rates should be prescribed
- how the rate or rates should be calculated
- the approach to setting decapitalisation rates in the future.
