Slide 1

Slide one shows the estimated percentage of the population in each of the four UK countries testing positive for COVID-19. The percentages for each country remained stable until late December 2021 before increasing. Since mid-January 2022 the percentage for each country slightly decreased before rapidly increasing once more in Wales, England and Scotland over the last three weeks.

Slide 2

Slide two shows the percentage of the population aged 12 and over reported to have received a booster or third COVID-19 vaccination dose for each of the 4 UK countries. Data as at 23rd March 2022 shows Wales has the second highest percentage at 72.5%, slightly behind Scotland at 72.7%. This is followed by 66.6% and 62.5% for England and Northern Ireland respectively.
