We want your views on draft guidance for local authorities (LAs) on tackling unnecessary vehicle engine idling.
Consultation description
The guidance is designed to promote a consistent and effective approach across Wales. It provides:
- advice and examples to support LAs in developing and delivering local communications and initiatives to discourage stationary engine idling.
- guidance on the use of enforcement powers in the context of new regulations, which come into force on 30 September 2026.
