In 2021/22, more than 120,000 young people in years 7 to 11 of secondary schools across Wales took part in the Student Health and Wellbeing Survey.

Series information:
The student survey provides in-depth understanding of the health and wellbeing of young people, including the whole population and subgroups of the population.
The content includes:
- mental health and wellbeing
- substance use and gambling
- physical activity and diet
- school life
- family and social life
- relationships
A total of 123,204 students in school years 7 to 11 participated in the survey. Students completed the survey electronically in the classroom.
