SMR 1: water protection
The factsheet and verifiable standards have been updated to reflect a change to the closed periods for spreading organic manures with high readily available nitrogen (excluding poultry manure).
Spreading is permitted between 15 October and 15 November subject to certain conditions. The applies to 2026 only.
