What we do

The Town Centre Taskforce is a time-limited Task and Finish advisory group established by the Welsh Government to consider the future of town centres across Wales.

It will bring together existing evidence and research with the knowledge and practical experience of its members, specialist contributors and direct insight from businesses, communities, and town-centre users.

The taskforce will consider the challenges and opportunities facing town centres and identify practical recommendations for Welsh Ministers. Its detailed programme, methodology and approach to engagement will be shaped with the co-Chairs and members.
