30% of people in Wales volunteered in April 2022 to March 2023.
People who volunteer are more likely to have one or a combination of the following characteristics:
- being male
- having higher-level educational qualifications
- feeling that life is highly worthwhile
- being married
- participating in sports 3 or more times a week
- using the internet
- having a religious faith
- living in a rural area
- living in a less-deprived area
