Carl Alexis Chief People and Communications Officer
Carl leads the Welsh Revenue Authority’s (WRA) strategic people, engagement and communications.
Carl joined the WRA in November 2022 as the Chief People and Communications Officer. He has extensive experience in strategic HR leadership and public sector workforce development.
Before joining the WRA, Carl worked for the Welsh Government for 17 years in roles across policy, operations and HR. His most recent role was Head of Workforce Engagement in the Welsh Government Education Department. He’s also worked as Head of HR for Wales at Cafcass Cymru.
Carl is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He holds an MBA and an MSc.
Carl was born and raised in Butetown, Cardiff. He enjoys helping people reach their potential and mentors others in his spare time.
