Agenda item 1: Notes and actions of the previous meeting

Agenda item 2: Employment Rights Bill Update
The Forum received a presentation from a senior official at the UK Department for Business and Trade. This provided an overview of the measures in the Bill and the approach to consultation and engagement. The Forum noted the constructive engagement between the Welsh Government and the UK Government on the Bill.
Agenda item 3: Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) Workplace guidance: hybrid working, menopause and harassment
The Forum received an update on the EHRC’s guidance on tackling harassment in the workplace, menopause guidance, and supporting disabled workers with hybrid working. The Forum were informed of the information, tools, and resources available on the EHRC’s website, which are designed to help employers understand their obligations and support them in making reasonable adjustments.
Agenda item 4: Tackling workplace racism and addressing workplace violence
The Forum was provided with a summary of the TUC Cymru’s toolkit to tackle racism in the workplace. This explained how the toolkit is useful in supporting workers and trade union representatives, in addition to providing information which is helpful to employers. The Forum noted that employers, trade unions, Government and regulators all have a part to play in tackling this issue.
