Julie James MS, Minister for Climate Change
In accordance with the inter-institutional relations agreement, I can report to Members that the Deputy Minister for Climate Change attended the latest meeting of the Net Zero, Energy and Climate Change Inter-Ministerial Group on 14 September 2023, on my behalf. The meeting focused on the comments from Chris Stark, Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee and Heat Decarbonisation.
The meeting also was attended by Mairi McAllan MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Just Transition; Graham Stuart MP, Minister of State Energy Security and Net Zero; and Katrina Godfrey, Permanent Secretary at the Northern Ireland Department of Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs.
