Today, I published the Welsh Government’s draft Budget proposals for 2020-21. The draft Budget sets out spending plans for 2020-21.

In light of the external factors that have influenced the timing of this year’s budget, the Welsh Government has, with the agreement of the National Assembly’s Business Committee and Finance Committee, triggered exceptional arrangements in relation to this year’s budget process. This includes publishing together the strategic spending plans for revenue and capital, and taxation and borrowing; as well as the detailed portfolio budget proposals.

I will make an Oral Statement on the draft Budget in the National Assembly on 7 January 2020.

The documents published today are available on the Welsh Government website.
