Written Statement - Good Practice Guide: Whole Education Approach to Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence in Wales

I would like to inform Assembly Members that a Good Practice Guide on Whole Education Approaches in respect of Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence has been published today as part of a package of measures to support implementation under the Act.

This Guide, which has been developed in conjunction with Welsh Women’s Aid, is intended to be a practical and useful toolkit for embedding principles of a Whole Education Approach to violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence within schools and Further Education Institutions (FEIs). It recognises the importance of education settings being environments where positive attitudes towards gender equality and healthy, respectful relationships can be fostered.
