On the 21st of May 2012 the Secretary of State for Wales, the Rt Hon. Cheryl Gillan MP, published a Green Paper on the future electoral arrangements for the National Assembly for Wales.
The Welsh Government issued a response to this consultation on 27th of July 2012. The response is attached for information.
This statement is being issued during recess in order to keep Members informed. Should Members wish me to answer questions on this when the Assembly returns I would be happy to do so.
