I am delighted to announce that this Government has attracted a new auto manufacturer to Wales, creating up to 500 jobs.

Thanks to our support, INEOS Automotive will be constructing a new bespoke 250,000 sq foot manufacturing and assembly plant at the Brocastle Business Park, adjacent to the Ford plant in Bridgend,  for the production of their new 4x4 Grenadier vehicle.

I believe this is a huge vote of confidence in the workforce and economy of Wales and proves that Wales remains an attractive place to invest despite ongoing Brexit uncertainty. It is my understanding that the company will unveil the new vehicle at the end of next year and that they will be developing their recruitment plans over the next 12 months.

The links attached below will become live later this afternoon and will direct you to the press release.
