I wish to notify you that I have laid the Interim Environmental Protection Assessor Wales’ report on The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill before the Senedd.  I am grateful to the Interim Assessor for the time she has taken in reviewing the Bill and preparing the report which makes recommendations to Welsh Ministers on a number of issues proposed in this UK Government Bill in the context of environmental law.  The document is available at The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill: report

I have written to the Assessor to thank her for the report, this also includes my response to the recommendations set out in the report. A copy of this letter and my response is available at The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill: report. This report and response pre-date the UK Government’s recent amendments which are currently going through the House of Lords.
