I am pleased to announce I have reappointed Helen Pittaway, Dr Peter Fox and Lesley Jones as Board Members of Natural Resources Wales for a further three-year term from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2029.
Natural Resources Wales’ Board has accountability for ensuring Natural Resources Wales exercises its legislative functions appropriately and effectively. I am confident these reappointments will provide continuity and experience on the Board at an important time for the organisation as it delivers its refreshed Corporate Plan and Programme for Government priorities, including the Climate and Nature Action Plan, and as it prepares to recruit a permanent Chief Executive Officer.
Board Members play an important role in providing strategic leadership, oversight and challenge to support the effective delivery of Natural Resources Wales' functions and responsibilities.
Board Members are remunerated at £350 per day with an expected time commitment of 36 days per year.
