This statement provides an update to Senedd Members on the publication of the NWSSP Governance and Accountability Review Report.
In April 2025, the former Director General of Health, Social Care and Early Years and NHS Wales Chief Executive commissioned an independent review of NWSSP’s governance and accountability arrangements.
Today, I am publishing the report alongside the Welsh Government’s initial response which is available here.
This statement is being issued during recess in order to keep members informed. Should members wish me to make a further statement or to answer questions on this when the Senedd returns I would be happy to do so.
