My oral statement on 1 October, set out briefly the arrangements Welsh Government have put in place to prepare for the significant risks that a no-deal Brexit poses to services in Wales and the public that they serve. These have been prepared in cooperation with our partner organisations and key stakeholders.

Following discussion with my Brexit Ministerial Stakeholder Advisory Forum, I have today published further details of these arrangements. The document can be found at the link below:

No deal Brexit preparations in health and social services

We have worked hard to protect the interests of the public and patients in Wales. We will continue to do all we can to assess the impacts of leaving the EU, and to ensure that we are as prepared as we can reasonably be.

We will continue to do all we can to prevent the UK government from leading us to a disastrous no-deal Brexit, which will inevitably hit Wales harder than other parts of the UK.
