The Wales Net Zero 2035 Challenge Group, led by former Minister, Jane Davidson, was established in January 2023 to examine potential pathways to net zero by 2035, delivering on a specific commitment in the formal Co-operation Agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru.
The Group’s work is formally drawing to a close. The date of publication is expected to be 11 September.
I will be attending a meeting with the Chair and the Group this month to hear their key findings.
