I said in First Minister’s questions on Tuesday that I would provide Members with an update following the Refugee Summit held last week. The Summit was well attended by a range of organisations representing public sector organisations and the Third Sector. They all committed to working together to ensure Wales can play its full part in the Vulnerable Persons Relocation Scheme. We agreed to set up a Taskforce which will be chaired by the Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty. I attach a link to the Communique which was agreed at the Summit for your information. The Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty will provide Assembly members with further information in a written statement on 6 October.
