In the Written Statement I made on 12 February 2012, I announced I had asked the Welsh Institute for Health and Social Care to undertake a review of Community Health Councils. Today I am publishing a consultation paper on my proposals arising from the review. I would like to thank Professor Longley and his team for producing a very thorough report.
The consultation will run from 24 October until 16 January and a copy can be found on the Welsh Government Consultation Webpage – Health and Social Care. I will report to Assembly Members on the results of the consultation early in 2013.
