I am aware of three arrests that took place yesterday as part of a Counter Terrorism Policing investigation.
The individuals were arrested on suspected offences under the National Security Act 2023 and have now been released on bail.
These are serious allegations and it is vital that we do not hamper the work of the police in any way or prejudice any future legal process.
As this remains a live police investigation, it would be inappropriate for me to comment further on any aspect of this case.
