Eluned Morgan MS, First Minister
The UK Covid-19 Inquiry published its report about the decision making of each of the four governments of the UK in November.
After carefully considering the inquiry’s report and recommendations, I have today written to the chair, Baroness Hallett, with the Welsh Government’s response. I am also publishing the response and will make a statement in Plenary tomorrow.
We recognise the profound and lasting impact the pandemic continues to have on people and communities in Wales. We are committed to learning the lessons from the pandemic and thank the inquiry for its ongoing work.
