Summary

YnNi Teg, a Community Benefit Society established by Community Energy Wales, led the development of the Bwlchgwynt G100 Solar project in Meidrim, Carmarthenshire.

The initiative co-locates 576 kWp of ground-mounted solar PV alongside an existing 900 kW wind turbine, strategically designed to maximise grid connection capacity. The solar array went live in November 2024.
