Main points
- 15% of 11 to 25 year olds (82,400) were registered members of statutory youth work provision in 2018-19 compared with 16% the previous year.
- At March 2019, there were 630 full-time equivalent youth work management and delivery staff working across local authorities in Wales.
- The total income for youth work provision in 2018-19 was £31.4 million (a slight increase from the previous year); total expenditure was £29.6 million (a slight decrease).
