We commissioned a trial of simple zebra crossings at 3 locations around Cardiff.
The locations were:
- Station road and Evansfield road junction
- Station road and Hawthorn Road East junction
- Bishops road and Merthyr road junction
The aim of this trial was to understand the impacts and perceptions of people using simple zebra crossings.
We wanted to know if the crossings work and if they can be used in more locations.
The trial is now complete. A report detailing the trial and lessons learnt is now available.
