Zero emission vehicle mandate review

This is a joint consultation, published by the UK Government, Scottish Government, Welsh Government and the Department for Infrastructure in Northern Ireland.

We are inviting views on the operation of the Vehicle Emissions Trading Schemes (VETS) Order, commonly known as the zero emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate.

The consultation seeks to ensure that the policy remains effective in supporting the transition to zero-emission vehicles, while delivering benefits for consumers and industry and contributing to the UK's wider decarbonisation objectives.
