Details
The general licence for gatherings of other captive birds has been amended. A new, amended general licence has been published.
As of 23 April 2026, gatherings of other captive birds may continue under general licence provided you:
- meet the requirements of the other captive bird gatherings general licence
- notify the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) of the gathering at least 7 days before the event
