Produced for the Welsh NHS, this guidance document enables the handling of concerns in line with the Regulations. These would be the NHS (Concerns, Complaints and Redress Arrangements) (Wales) Regulations 2011.
The guidance applies to all:
- health boards in Wales
- NHS trusts in Wales
- Welsh special health authorities (except cross-border bodies like NHS Blood and Transplant)
- independent providers in Wales providing NHS funded care
- primary care practitioners in Wales
The guidance helps staff to interpret the Regulations. It provides advice on applying best practice in handling and investigating a concern.
